Not only does UAE and its several forks represent one of the most impressive emulation efforts ever (given the rather unusual hardware architecture of the Amiga platform), but its internals have seen use in a number of other projects. I would be seriously remiss to ignore the incredible tenacity of the Amiga community and their invaluable contribution to 68k emulation, the UAE (U-something Amiga Emulator).
